Kidney stones are one of the most common disorders of the urinary tract. This are the Crystals that form in urine and build up on the inner surfaces of the kidney ,the ureter, or the bladder. These stones contain various combinations of minerals and other chemicals, some of which are derived from your diet. In Ayurvedic literature it is referred as Mutrashmari. Mutra means urine, Ashmari means stone. It is a troublesome complaint which may become an emergency at any point of time. Though it is a structural condition, Doon Ayurveda offers varieties of remedies and treatment regimen. Ayurvedic treatment of kidney stones involves the use of diuretic and stone-dissolving herbs in acute cases. The system is then cleaned and strengthened using toning and rejuvenating preparations.
