FATTY LIVER

When excess fat is accumulated in the liver cells (hepatocytes) it leads to a condition called fatty liver. Liver is an organ of our body which takes the fat (lipoprotein) from the blood and secret it indifferent form. The imbalance with the normal activities of liver and blood, leads to the accumulation fat droplets in the liver.

Symptoms such as
•    Nausea,
•    Vomiting,
•    Loss of appetite, and
•    Abdominal pain on the right side of the body,
•    Abdomen swelling,
•    Jaundice
•    Fever.
Cause of fatty liver is
•    Alcoholism,
•    Malnutrition obesity,
•    Diabetes mellitus,
•    Cushing"s syndrome,
•    Hyperlipidemia,
•    Hepatitis Pregnancy overdoses of drugs or toxic chemical poisonings,
•    by eating irregularly and not consuming a balanced diet.

Eating fatty foods does not by itself produce a fatty liver. The sluggish liver is one of the reasons for accumulation of fats in the liver cells.
